WELCOME COACHES

We appreciate your interest in our student-athletes.  We know what a daunting task recruiting can be, particularly making decisions regarding international players.  Our goal is to facilitate this process by providing pertinent information that will perk your interest to seriously consider our athletes. 

1. Academic Assessment: we recognize scholarship budgets can be tight.  We also recognize that the brighter, more accomplished student-athlete will be provided opportunities for additional scholarship funds as a result of high academic achievement.  A perfect scenario would be to offer the brightest student-athlete (honour student) possible that will excel athletically (impact player) in your program.  Our staff is extremely qualified to assess and provide a strong recommendation for your consideration. We also recognize that strong academic preparation will result in better retention and graduation rates. 
2. Athletic Assessment: we recognize your need to find the best athlete possible so as to maximize your investment of scholarship funds.  Our staff have years of experience working with athletes at all levels.  We offer an accurate assessment of a player’s athletic ability and how he/she might fit into you program.  We will have no problem being upfront with our potential candidates regarding their ability to compete at any level in the USA university system.  
3. Financial Assessment: we recognize that families need to understand that a very small percentage of international student-athletes obtain “full rides” from American universities.  Our goal is to educate these families regarding their need to be prepared to invest in their son or daughter’s education.  We look to obtain a realistic financial picture of what each parent is willing to invest.  During this process we will present to families the various levels of costs to attend a university in the USA, particularly regarding regional placement throughout the States.  We educate the families regarding the differences between private and state institutions.  Regional placement will play a very important role in the costs for most families. 

You will see all the necessary information in the student-athlete profiles to help you decide if they might be a fit for your program.  Our goal would be to prepare them for conversations with coaches interested in their profile.  You contact the player and proceed with the recruiting process.  We would then follow up with you and the player to offer advice and counsel.
